 Starting at a dining room table, creating original designs, the inception of Glitzy Karma was
born. Now with the expansion of a warehouse, Glitzy Karma shoes are available in upscale
boutiques throughout the nation, as well as, being available online. With a true commitment to
forefront style and quality every shoe is designed and inspected by owner and chief stylist,
Megan Horner.
Born as the fourth daughter of five children, Megan is always utilizing a natural eye for style and expression of flair to all her surroundings. Beginning to design and recreating her wardrobe at the age of 10, Megan would redesign her unwanted dresses skirts and tops. Creating her own accessories from a young age, Megan was set apart from her peers as a trendsetter; and a continued source of inspiration to her four sisters and Mother.
Upon being diagnosed with Melanoma in 2005, Megan was overcome with feelings of depression and uncertainty; a gift of embellished flip flops sparked a sense of hope and determination. Megan was determined to spread this feeling forward to others, thus creating the phenomenon of Glitzy Karma. Armored with the natural desire to create beauty around her, and with no formal instruction in design or business, she began creating beauty for other women too.
Megan, always having a keen insight to see styles before their inception, continues to visualize, create and set forth the much coveted styles of Glitzy Karma. Megan's greatest wish is for women and young girls who wear her designs to have a greater sense of self woth regardless of her surroundings or situation.
